When Worship Feels Like A Lifeline
Hi friend,
Have you ever had a moment where a worship song broke through the fog—and you felt, even for a moment, like God saw you?
I’ve been thinking about the people I know (and love) who are in a season where life just isn’t budging. Prayers feel hollow. The silence from heaven? Deafening.
Sometimes, in seasons like that, Scripture feels too sharp, books feel too heavy, and even prayer can feel like too much effort.
But worship? Worship has a way of slipping past all our defenses.
The right lyric at the right moment can feel like fresh water in an arid desert.
This month, I’ll be guiding a small group of folks through something called Restorative Worship Journaling—a gentle practice that combines worship, stillness, and journaling. It’s not flashy. But it is honest, quiet, and soul-restoring.
More soon. I just wanted you to know: if you're in a place where you feel tired of “trying”... you’re not alone. And there’s something coming that might be just for you.
With you in the waiting,
Mike
